The object of the Association is to maintain among the members an active interest in the welfare of their Alma Mater. Students leaving the College after completion of their courses are requested to become members. They are requested to register their names through this website.

Dear Alumni,Season's Greetings! Now is the time to recollect and come back to our Alma Mater – JAMS College! It gives us immense pleasure to have continued ties with you. Hope you are faring well in your job and earning laurels for yourself as well as your parents/guardians and of course for JAMS College - your Alma Mater. With painstaking effort and inspiration of our great Visionary Hon'ble Chairman, Mr. V.S.Ganesan, JAMS College is marching ahead in pursuit of Excellence in Maritime Education and Research. With the initiative from our Hon'ble Secretary, JAMS is pleased to announce its "First Alumni Meet" scheduled to be organized on 2nd February 2019 (Saturday) at JAMS College Campus. You are our valued Ambassadors and we would like your continued association with JAMS. This event will offer current students the opportunity to network with previous graduates of JAMS College. There is no one better to answer questions about academic and career experiences, internships and career fields than graduates who have already been through it. It's a great opportunity to interact with your batch-mates and relish & refresh your past memories. At Jams college, I realised that sailing is not for the people who are indisciplined and non dedicated. The initial days at Jams college were tough, but it is these tough days that brings the best out of you.

My three years at JAMS were great and a memory to cherish for lifetime. It was full of learning and grooming oneself. It gave me an opportunity to meet different kind of people and learned many things. I am thankful to all the faculties, mentors and entire JAMS as well as placement cell. JAMS faculties have put in all the efforts to groom us and make us corporate professionals. It was a wonderful experience at JAMS MARINE COLLEGE .
My bachelor degree at JAMS in NAUTICAL SCIENCE consisted of many projects based evaluation and faculty connects. The mentors at JAMS helped us enhance my academic and interpersonal skills. The regular interaction with the Placement team also encouraged me to excel in my interview and developing skills that are required for future use.
JAMS has always believed in helping and guiding its students and it was no different during the placement season. Regular classes held at our college to help us with our aptitude and technical skills were of great help.
My life at JAMS made me stronger and took me a step ahead for being an independent women. I am thankful to all the teachers who supported us and corrected us throughout our bachelors. I loved the infrastructure of JAMS and its International life journey. The events that I took part helped me to grow my confidence level. Staffs are very good... Whenever we ask doubts they will clarify the doubts without hesitation after the class hours also, we learned lots in the college
We feel the atmosphere of sea life in college campus, daily we have to do our routine works on time, this will really helps us on board ship, proud to be an jams students
Teaching is very perfect, and easy to understand, staffs are teaching in 3 languages, so students from various states can understand the topic very easily, perfect college
Lots of onboard machinery/equipments/tools are available, so easy to know their uses and working, we got more knowledge in theory and practical sense also
Once I join the college, I know only Tamil, End of my course I know 4 languages excluding Tamil, because various states students are learning in our college . So when we communicate we come to know the language easily, best experience ever had
I am pleased to inform that I got placed in merchant Navy which wouldn’t be possible without the encouragement and guidance from placement department they gave us the support throughout the interview process as well as for On-boarding process.
