About This Course
It is 4 days Course which is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping (Government of India). This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for seafarers for familiarization, basic safety training & instruction in accordance with section A-VI/1 of STCW code This syllabus covers the requirements for the 1995 STCW convention & code chapter 6, section A-VI/1 and META manual Vol 2, appendix M-/1A on meeting the minimum standard of competency in Personal Survival Technique
