It is 3 years course approved by Director General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. It is a course leading to Second Mate Foreign-going Certificate of Competency (COC) awarded by DG Shipping after 12 months of sea service. It is a strictly residential course. It enables the CADET to become Navigation Officer onboard in Merchant Navy Ships worldwide.

Eligibility

PCM – 60% in HSC/ ISC (Relaxation 5% for SC/ST)

English – 50% either in 10th or HSC/ ISC.

Qualified in IMU CET Exam

Transfer Certificate or Migration Certificate, IMU CET Score card, aadhar
card

Qualification
